Ashland Sugar Box
A replication of a historic design from the old south, the Ashland Sugar Box is shown crafted from solid poplar, dyed with rich stain then milk painted, worn and distressed just-so. The removable top box is hand dovetailed with a bread board wrapped lid and high-end period mortise lock and key. The base has elegant tapered legs, exposed pegging and a hand cut, half-blind dovetail drawer; a unique and adaptable piece that accents any room.
